My Story
I have been blessed with a plethora of experiences from which have given me a deep insight into mental wellbeing. When I was 17, I joined the Australian Defence Force, which helped me develop great insight into discipline and comradery, as well as gave me a platform to observe the importance of maintaining mental health. From 2011-2013, I spent two years as a full-time missionary in Auckland, New Zealand, providing volunteer ministerial and counselling services. In 2018, I graduated from the Australian College of Applied Psychology with a Bachelor of Psychological Science, giving me a professional footing in the discipline that I had become fascinated with. Later on, I received a Certificate III in Health and Fitness to complement my psychological expertise before moving to Arizona, USA. While in Arizona, I operated as Human Resources Manager within a biohazard cleaning company, providing me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of individuals dealing with both personal and professional challenges and victories. Since returning from Arizona, I have continued furthering my education in the psychotherapy field by completing a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. My fascination, experience, and education within the field of psychology continues to grow and develop as I provide individuals with the space and tools necessary to process experiences and emotions.
Current Projects
I have recently partnered with DyslexAbility, a private intervention centre for students that are better suited to a non-mainstream education program, as an on-site counsellor. Together, we provide students with the safe space to process school related trauma, develop learning strategies for neurodiverse students, conquer school refusal, and realize their potential.
